About Us
Established on November 11, 1974, the Memorial Woman’s Club of Houston began as a welcoming alumnae group born out of the Memorial Area Newcomers Club. For over five decades, our club has proudly cultivated a vibrant and prestigious community centered around upscale hospitality, connections, and lasting friendships.
We serve as a premier social hub for women across Houston’s most historic and iconic neighborhoods along the Memorial Drive corridor and more — including the Memorial Villages, Tanglewood, Briargrove, Memorial West communities, and many other surrounding communities.
We gather on the second Wednesday of each month at the beautiful Houston Racquet Club for our signature monthly luncheons, featuring a dynamic lineup of guest speakers, engaging presentations, and exclusive lifestyle entertainment.
A much loved highlight of our monthly meetings is the lively coffee social for catching up and playing at the Mahjong or Bridge tables, where members connect and laugh before enjoying the luncheon and presentation.
